The Rotary Club of Georgetown supported the Jurassic Park Halton Hills event on Friday June 7, giving out free pizza to hundreds of fans who showed up to cheer on our Raptors. While the Raptors soundly trumped the Golden State Warriors by a score of 105 to 92, our club distributed 1440 slices of pizza. It was a great family event which contributed to a strong sense of community spirit.
Donations of food and dollars was provided to the Halton Hills Bread Basket.
A special thank you to Georgetown Toyota for providing the space free of charge for the evening.
And kudos to Emma Mann for organizing this event.
